Thames Clippers get the Blu Marine Treatment

Blu Marine have been making further waves on the Thames with maintainance contracts on several of the famous London Clippers. Projects also extends to the berthing facilities and passenger infastructure.

New Contract Awarded By Holland America Line

Blu Marine are pleased to announce the recently awarded contract for the creation of Officers cabins onboard The PRINSENDAM.

Work is already underway and will be completed "on the run" as the ship sails around the Mediterranean. Logistical problems for this project caused by the ship docking at many inaccessible and "awkward" Ports have been solved by securing two number 20 foot containers to the Forepeak deck loaded with all cabin furniture, wet units, materials, consumables etc to carry out the project on the run.

This will have saved both time and cost for the Client.

Three ship deal with major ferry operator

Blu Marine are pleased to announce the award of a three ship deal with Norfolk Line Ferries operated by Maersk shipping. The Maersk Delft, Dover, and Dunkerque will have their passenger lounge facilities refurbished by Blu Marine's outfitting team. Work is programmed to start 12th January and all three ships will be completed by 6th Febuary.

Prep work will be carried out for all three ships at our upholstery and joinery workshops in Hampshire before finishing each ship in drydock at Dunkerque, France. Blu Marine's partnering approach with its suppliers have enabled the company to plan and execute this project in record time and Skopos design ltd have helped greatly with fabric supply and classification issues.

Blu Marine win's prestigious contract on Thames

Blu Marine have recently been awarded a contract to rebulid the interior of "The Mayflower Garden" owned by City Cruises London.

Work is planned to start in November and completed by mid December. Stephen Donnelly, (Operations Director) commented "this is a fantastic opportunity. It emphasises Blu Marine's expertise and knowledge in outfitting lightweight aluminum vessels along with opening up new markets in the London area".

Blu Marine completes fit out for rock star

Blu Marine have completed fitting out bulkhead and deckheads in the Owners cabin (Old Slow Hand) and crew quarters during the yachts extensive refurbishment in the world renowned Pendenis shipyard in Cornwall.
