Carnival Australia’s Pacific Dawn welcomed 67 Blu Marine personnel to Sydney to complete the Pool Deck refurbishment.
In difficult heat the boys managed to complete the work scope including re-tiling all three pools, the grill and plantations restaurant also received new tiling throughout as well as new carpet and astro turf for the outdoor areas. 3 bespoke waterfalls were installed throughout and the teak deck was re-plugged and sanded.
New outdoor curtains were manufactured in our workshop and fitted with new pelmets as well as fully pre-fabricated dividing screens and bespoke LED column casings. The lighting throughout the pool deck was fully upgraded to LED including the pool surrounds and stair tread strip lighting, all the pools were re-painted with a custom design painted on the bottom and the bar area was fitted with new back bar cabinets, lighting and bar front wood effect tiles.
Other works included installing 2 automatic sliding glass doors and 10 automatic door closers improving access for all passengers to the new pool decks.
