Blu Marine undertake restoration works on HMS Caroline

All the team at Blu Marine are proud to be working on the restoration of the historic HMS Caroline. Docked in Belfast the famous warship which was the only surviving vessel from the Battle of Jutland, is to be restored and opened as a museum for the centenary commemorations of the Battle.

Right on our door step we have experienced teams and personnel working on board completing various works including steel works, teak decking, port hole restoration and mechanical & electrical repairs. Blu Marine also carried out testing of the exterior and interior paint and continue to complete all safeguarding works on board.
Everyone is excited to see the progress of this much loved ship which has been used as a training vessel in Belfast since the end of the war. Keep checking our website for updates as we follow HMS Caroline and her restoration project.
