Express

Blu Marine started work mid-February with a core team of 30  craftsmen fitting out various areas throughout the ship, including the following –

New club class lounge – works included new interior bulkheads with a timber walnut  upper feature panel incorporating stainless steel  portholes. The existing carpets, seating and walnut tables were all replaced. The existing bar top was modified to create  a self-serving counter with new drinks units below. The existing walls received a new Tektura finish throughout.

Main Bar – New carpets were installed throughout with new Oak table tops. The existing walls received new wall coverings with feature  graphics.

Coffee area & food court – New wood plank floor finishes installed throughout with the existing seating being re-upholstered with new fabric . New s/steel counter tops were installed with separating balustrade  glass screens and new wall coverings throughout.

Toilets – The existing toilets received new strataflex wall finishes and new vinyl floor finish throughout. The existing Vanity tops were upgraded  with new taps &  mirrors.  Existing lighting was changed to new LED  throughout.

Overall a very successful refit which we are proud to have completed and pleased to say has led to further works on board The Express and within the P&O fleet.
