Aurora

The Aurora sailed from Southampton to Germany and Blu marine started their refurbishment during the crossing. Our scope onboard was to revitalise all the wooden dance and stage floors and install new electronically operated blinds to the 2 level suites to stop the cabin light interfering with the night time operations on the bridge above. We also carried out flooring and had various joinery works onboard including recess LCD televisions in the sports bar soffit.

Prior to refit we turned a video games room into a Nintendo WII zone during a half day turnaround. This required a detailed survey and all fabrication in our workshop prior to our installation. We fabricated new banquette seating from the metal framework through to the upholstered pads and fabricated the divider screens which included the console storage.
