Bleu De France, conference facilities

New conference room (pictured right) was originally a Casino, work carried out to achieve this transformation as follows.

Removal of all original fixtures and fittings, installation of new wall coverings and floor coverings, re-upholstery of soft furnishings, installation of new and upgraded lighting scheme, installation of computerised projector/sound system and lighting control, supply and installation of conference table and chairs.

Bleu De France, suite sitting rooms

A full refurbishment of the first class living and sleeping areas was undertaken during the dry dock and work comprised of the following. (living area pictured right)

Re-Upholstery of all soft furnishings, new wall coverings as supplied by Muraspec, all electrical fittings changed and upgraded, installation of new balcony doors and screens, new feature headboards, new bedroom furniture featuring glass inset doors, flooring.

Bleu De France, suite bathrooms

New bathroom refurbishment, pictured right, for all first class suites onboard.

Work comprised of all removals down to steel deck and bulkheads and full mechanical / electrical fit out followed by installation of bulkheads, deckheads, carpentry, ceramics, granite surfaces, baths, showers, toilets, and fixtures and fittings.

Bleu De France, Show Lounge

Pictured right is the newly refurbished show lounge on deck 8.

Work comprised of extending the stage and dance floor and refinishing in American Black Walnut. Installing a new 110m2 raised floor section in steel and aluminium honeycomb panels. Fabrication of two new stage wing storage rooms. Installation of new spec LED low level lighting. Upholstery of 314 show lounge chairs and all fixed seating. Installation of new floor coverings and up stands. Refurbishment of columns and wood trims.

Bleu De France

Bleu De France Conversion took place in Barcelona Union Naval Shipyard at the beginning of summer during a 4 week conversion Project. As the ship was changing hands from a Spanish operator to a French operator, the refit was extensive and challenging.

Blu Marine's project included work on Deck 4 entrance, (new entrance pictured right). Deck 8 show lounge, nine first class suites, conference room, all public toilets, balcony doors and screens where extensively refurbished and replaced.

The project was completed on time and within agreed budget.
