Pictured right, one of the eight cabins under construction.
One of our employee's is pictured building bunk beds in one of the Sea Cadet's cabins.
Particular care had to be taken when moving materials and furniture around the ship and this was mostly carried out at night to minimise disruption during the cruise.
Prinsendam
As can be seen in the main picture above, the Prinsendam has two containers from Blu Marine secured to the Forepeak deck whilst docked in Marseille.
This picture has been taken during the recently awarded project to modify eight pantries and the creation of six officer cabins and two baggage storage rooms. The containers have been placed on the ship and are being used to transport and store furniture and materials supplied from our Salisbury workshops.
This project has been carried out "on the run" and has presented Blu Marine with certain challenges of logistics and carrying out extensive modifications without disturbing the "paying guests".
Pictured right is one of the cabin spaces being stripped back to the steel structure in preparation for the new finishes and furniture to be installed.
