Scope of Works    The Lord Nelson is a Tall Ship purpose built by Jubilee Sailing trust to integrate and promote teamwork with disabled and able bodied people through learning to sail. Blu Marine Directors fundraise for JST and as such were approached to look at a proposal to re-design the fwd accommodation space. We were more than happy to carry out a full turnkey refurbishment of the f’ocsle area as a non-profit making project. Work included 18 new bunk spaces, laminated curved hull bulkheads and new deck heads, new B15 access hatch & new lighting. The outside bunks had to be carefully scribed to the curvature of the hull. The work will make the voyages much more pleasant and appealing for the charity’s paying customers.
