DFDS King Seaways

The Blu Marine Team spent the month of January in Gdansk, Poland for the refit of DFDS’ King Seaways. Refurbishment works took place all throughout the ship, including all the public spaces, cabins and crew areas. The ship received new flooring, decorating and LED lighting throughout. A proportion of the cabins received new furniture manufactured in our workshop in Northern Ireland including new double beds to replace the twin bed cabins. New granite bar tops were installed in all the restaurants and bars as well as feature lighting and feature slate walls in the Columbus Club on board.
The team worked hard, with over 140 personnel on board, the flexibility of the team made a big difference with the short lead in time for this project.
