NorthLink Ferries

Blu Marine have successfully completed refits across the Northlink Ferries fleet running between Aberdeen and the Shetland Islands. The works included upgrades in the forward bar, picnic area, mid ships bar, galley, premium lounge and café are complete with minor works remaining across smaller areas. In addition to the main refits Blumarine have upgraded the WIFI system and increased the number of premium cabins within the accommodation areas. The package also involved the installation of a brand new sleeper seat design that was developed in conjunction with a Specialist European supplier. During the latter stages of 2012 the weather in the NorthSea has been pretty exciting and ensured all members of the team have received there ‘sea legs’.

Blumarine are hoping to continue their strong relationship with this client by continuing to discuss further improvements to the passenger areas over the next summer season.
